What this covers

Animalrounds is a web app by BV Fisser, Baardegem, Belgium, company number BE 0882.030.896, with which owners, stables, farms, carers, vets and transporters plan and share the care of animals. Create an account and these terms apply. Questions? info@animalrounds.com.

The product is under development

Animalrounds is actively being built. Features are added, screens change now and then, and there are bugs we have not found yet. We do our best to keep the app running, but we do not promise uninterrupted availability: maintenance, an outage at our hosting provider or a mistake of ours can make the app unusable for a while.

So do not rely on it as the only place where something lives that you cannot afford to lose. You can export your organisation's data as a JSON file at any time under Settings; do that once in a while.

Not a substitute for a vet

Animalrounds stores and shows what people enter themselves. It gives no veterinary advice, it does not check dosages and it does not diagnose.

A reminder that fails to arrive, or a plan that was filled in wrongly, changes nothing about your own responsibility for the animal. If you are unsure about a treatment, a medicine or a dose, call the vet — not the app. In an emergency, call a vet straight away.

Your account and your organisation

Give accurate details and keep your sign-in method to yourself. Whoever runs an organisation is responsible for the people they invite and for what those people enter, and sets their permissions with care.

Only enter animals you own or are allowed to manage. If you use Animalrounds to keep data about your staff (time tracking, for instance), you are the controller for that data and you must tell them about it.

Sharing access

An owner grants another organisation access to an animal with a given scope, and can revoke it at any time. What you see through such access may only be used for the care, treatment or transport of that animal — not to sell, spread or use for anything else.

What you may not do

Do not upload unlawful or inappropriate content, do not infringe anyone's rights, do not try to reach data that is not meant for you, and do not overload or sabotage the app. If that happens anyway, we may suspend or delete an account.

What it costs

An owner with their own animals uses Animalrounds free of charge. For stables, farms, practices, transporters and service providers, the plans and prices are on the billing page in the app; that page is what applies at the moment you take a plan.

If you take a paid plan, payment runs through the payment service shown at checkout; we do not store card details ourselves. A subscription continues until you cancel it, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. If you are a consumer in the EU you have a fourteen-day right of withdrawal, except where the service has already been fully provided with your express consent.

Liability

We are liable for damage we cause ourselves, but not without limit. As far as Belgian law allows, our liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the damage, and we are not liable for indirect damage or for the consequences of decisions about an animal that you took on the basis of the app. Fraud, intent and gross negligence always remain fully ours, and nothing here limits your rights as a consumer.

Stopping

You can delete your account or your organisation at any time under Settings. Export what you want to keep first, because deletion is final.

Were we to discontinue Animalrounds, we would say so at least thirty days in advance, so you can take your data with you.

Law and courts

Belgian law applies to these terms. If we cannot work something out together, the courts of the registered office of BV Fisser have jurisdiction, without prejudice to the mandatory protection you have as a consumer. Consumers in the EU can also use the European Online Dispute Resolution platform (ec.europa.eu/odr).
