Terms of service
Last updated: 9/1/2026
1. The service
Animalrounds ("the Service") is a web and mobile platform provided by BV Fisser, Baardegem, Belgium, company and VAT number BE 0882.030.896, that lets owners, stables, farms, caretakers, veterinary practices and transport companies manage and share information about animals. By creating an account you accept these terms.
2. Accounts and organisations
You must provide accurate information and keep your sign-in method secure. An organisation admin is responsible for the members they invite and for the data entered by those members. You may only enter information about animals you own or are authorised to manage.
3. Sharing and placements
Access to an animal's data by non-owners is granted by the owner through placements with a scope, and may be revoked at any time. Information you receive through a placement may only be used for the care, treatment or transport of that animal.
4. Medical information
Animalrounds stores information entered by users and vets; it does not provide veterinary advice. Reminders are a convenience and do not replace your vet's guidance. Always verify critical information (medication, dosage) with the responsible veterinarian.
5. Plans and payment
Owner households use Animalrounds free of charge. Places (stables, farms, practices, transport, services) subscribe to a paid plan as listed on the billing page. Prices exclude VAT unless stated otherwise. Subscriptions renew automatically monthly or yearly until cancelled via the customer portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. Payments are processed by Stripe.
Consumers residing in the EU have a 14-day right of withdrawal, except where the service has been fully performed with their prior express consent.
6. Acceptable use
You may not upload unlawful content, infringe the rights of others, attempt to access data you are not authorised to see, or disrupt the Service. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
7. Availability and liability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. To the extent permitted by Belgian law, our liability is limited to the fees paid by you in the twelve months preceding the claim, and we are not liable for indirect damage. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, intent or gross negligence.
8. Data protection
Our Privacy Policy explains how we process personal data. For organisations, BV Fisser acts as processor for data entered by the organisation; a Data Processing Agreement is available on request.
9. Termination
You can delete your account or organisation at any time from Settings. We may terminate the Service with 30 days' notice; in that case you can export your data beforehand.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by Belgian law. Disputes are submitted to the courts of the registered office of BV Fisser, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules. EU consumers may also use the European Online Dispute Resolution platform (ec.europa.eu/odr).
